Migrants dotted all along the opposite bank today. Overhead, a steady north-easterly flow of hirundines interspersed with Swifts, Yellow Wagtails and a few Siskin; on the deck Turtle Dove, Sanderling, Grasshopper Warbler, Bar-tailed Godwit, Whimbrel, Lesser Whitethroat and Wheatear. Also a mass hatching of St. Mark's Fly, five days behind schedule.
